SKEW-2; 2nd International Sketch Engine Workshop
Weds 16 & Thurs 17 March 2011, Brighton, UK
Sponsors: Cambridge University Press, HarperCollins, Institute of Dutch Lexicology (INL), Lexical Computing Ltd., Oxford University Press
The event is an opportunity for advanced users of the Sketch Engine and others interested in corpus NLP and corpus lexicography to keep abreast of new functionality, compare notes on how the tool can be used to greatest effect, and to discuss problems and possibilities with the development team. It follows on from a successful 2010 event in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The venue is Terraces Bar and Café. For more about Brighton, including accommodation, see Visit Brighton.
As in 2010, we anticipate a programme of roughly half submitted papers and half presentations from the Sketch Engine team.
