To create a frequency graph:
- Select a corpus and make a query in the Concordance window.
- After clicking on Make Concordance, find Frequency in the left hand side panel
- You can either click on Frequency to get to the screen where you specify which word position relative to the node (KWIC), or which text types you wish to make a frequency graph for (see the frequency page specific help) or you can make a frequency graph by clicking on:
- Node tags - This will display a frequency graph of all the PoS of the node words (KWIC) for your query i.e. the number of times each PoS occurred in the concordance
- Node forms - This will display a frequency graph of all the forms of node words (KWIC) for your query
- Doc Ids - provides a frequency graph of the document ids for all occurrences of your query
- Text Types - provides frequency graphs of all the text types for all occurrences of your query. The text types are determined according to how the specific corpus you are using is set up in sketch engine (see documentation on preparing headers for more details on setting up a corpus with text types)
