To make a concordance:
- Click Home at the top right of the screen to return to the Home Page where you can select a corpus
- Select a corpus.
- Type a search query into the query box.
- The query can be a single word or multiple words. Multiple words are interpreted as a sequence of words.
- A query typed into the (Simple) query box will match against both word forms and lemmas (for corpora which have been lemmatised). In some corpora, depending upon how they are set up, it also finds both upper case and lower case items. If these are not the options you want, or you want greater control over exactly what the search finds, you will want to use Query Type under the expert options on the left hand size panel. Query Type allows you to specify your query more precisely. For more information click here for the specific help page on the expert options that can be used when making a query.
