To take a sample of concordance lines of your query:

• Make a concordance.
• Click on Sample in the left hand side panel of the screen.
• Edit how many concordance lines you want by changing the Number of Lines in Sample. The default is 250.
• Click Create Sample to make your sample.

Note that the random sample is generated according to a random number generator but this always operates from the same start point which means that the random sample remains the same every time it is created for the same number of lines. This feature can be very useful where several users want to work on the same sample or a user needs to recreate the same sample as used previously.
