Frequency Page Help

In the main panel of the interface you have various options for creating a frequency chart from the concordance you created with your query.

There are two main sections:

Multilevel Frequency Distribution

Firstly, you can specify a frequency limit (threshold, below which the frquency values will not be displayed).

You can select up to 4 levels to use. The default is 1 i.e. a frequency graph with just one parameter. If you select a second level then you get a frequency graph according to the first and second parameter. You can select which token you want the frequency information for, the default is the node (the text that matched your initial query). You can also specify tokens to left (L) and right (R) of the node.

Text Type Frequency Distribution

Firstly, you can specify a frequency limit (threshold, below which the frequency values will not be displayed).

You can select a text type, or other attribute from the documents to create the frequency chart.
