Random Sample Help

On the main panel you can make a random sample of the concordance you created from your query. You can also choose how many lines should be included in the random sample. The default is 250.

Note that the random sample is generated according to a random number generator but this always operates from the same start point which means that the random sample remains the same every time it is created for the same number of lines. This feature can be very useful where several users want to work on the same sample or a user needs to recreate the same sample as used previously. If you wish to change the order of the sample then from the concordance page, to reach this you can click view concordance, and then use the Shuffle option under sort.
